Here's a really easy way to make delicious chicken strips. Boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in to strips, mayonaise, bread crumbs, a big baking pan and a medium hot oven. Dip the strips in the mayo then roll in crums. You won't taste the mayo when they're done. Bake at 350 until they test tender and have a crisp outer coating. Season however you like. Be sure to share. Solomon thinks he's royalty when he gets these way better than mcdonalds.

Interesting. You really need that binding agent. I'll have to gry this. THanks for sharing.

wow, I always used egg and buttermilk. Never thought of using mayonaise. I think it would be a lot easier. Will definitely give this a try.

and you can cut them in to smaller pieces for nuggets. if you want a change from the mayo, you can try honey or a little thick bleu cheese dressing.

Could you boil the chicken breast itself before you cut it up and bake it with the bread crumbs and all that? I heard it turns out really good that way as well.

you could but chicken breasts are noted for being dry as the desert ofsahara if cooked too much. did you know by the way that the frozen mcnuggets are considered a dair food? for people alergic to milk they use milk to bind the little pieces of meat together. that's why it's much more healthy to make our own.

Basically anything made from scratch is healthier for us. Except of course for the breads and desserts and all that.

oh bread from scratch has its place and is much better for us.

I've tried making chicken strips the same way you mentioned, but with ranch dressing instead of mayo. So good! the flavor is a little stronger, though, so I could see why you'd prefer it with mayo if you like a lighter flavor.

I've tried this recipe, but to the bread crum I also add : parmesan cheese, freshly ground black pepper, and italian spice. It was awesome!
